Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established renewable energy company looking to hire a UK Power Billing & Settlements trader to join the team in London.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks- Manage the end-to-end billing and settlement process for UK power transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile metering data, invoices, and settlement reports, investigating and resolving discrepancies with counterparties and internal teams.
- Support billing related to Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and supplier arrangements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Liaise with trading, operations, and finance teams to ensure settlement data is correctly reflected in internal systems.
- Monitor settlement timelines, maintain records, and contribute to process improvements and reporting.
- ~5+ years of experience in the UK electricity market, ideally in billing, settlements, or operations.
- ~ Experience working with a UK power supplier, energy trader, or within PPA billing/settlement processes.
- ~ Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- ~ Proficiency in Excel and experience working with energy settlement or billing systems.
- ~ Located in London.
