Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established international agricultural trading house is seeking an Agricultural Operator to join its London team. The role supports the full trade lifecycle across physical agricultural commodities, working closely with traders, counterparties and internal functions to ensure smooth execution and accurate PnL reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end to end execution of physical agricultural trades from contract to settlement
- Coordinate logistics including shipping, storage, inspections and documentation
- Liaise with traders to support position management, exposure tracking and PnL reconciliation
- Interface with counterparties, brokers, inspectors and service providers to resolve operational issues
- Maintain accurate records within trading and risk systems, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Experience in an agricultural operations role within a trading house or merchant
- Strong understanding of physical commodity contracts, Incoterms and trade documentation
- Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with solid systems and Excel capability
