What success looks like

First 90 days

You have built a clear view of current sales capability, pipeline health, forecast accuracy and market opportunity across the group. Sales leaders understand the standards expected, and the Executive team has an evidence-based diagnosis of the commercial function.

First 6 months

A group-wide go-to-market plan is agreed and operating, with defined target markets, pipeline standards, forecasting discipline and deal governance. Cross-functional alignment is improving and leaders have a clear, consistent view of commercial performance.

First 12 months

New business revenue, pipeline quality, conversion rates and average deal value have measurably improved. The sales function is scalable and increasingly self-sufficient, cross-sell contribution is visible, and new sales are making a clear EBITDA contribution.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role.
  • A track record of building or scaling a sales function and reducing reliance on founder-led sales.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a clear understanding of EBITDA, margin and revenue quality.
  • Experience operating across a multi-entity or complex organisation is desirable.
  • Ability to align sales, marketing, delivery and other cross-functional teams behind a unified strategy.
  • Evidence of improving forecasting, pipeline quality, conversion and team performance.
  • Credibility with senior leaders and the ability to influence at Executive and board level.

How you'll show up

  • Group-minded. You operate at group level, not regional level, and create alignment across businesses without losing sight of local market realities.
  • Commercial and accountable. You take ownership for outcomes, connect activity to revenue and EBITDA, and bring solutions rather than problems.
  • Structured and disciplined. You establish clear standards, dependable forecasting and consistent sales governance.
  • A builder. You create a scalable, self-sufficient commercial function rather than becoming the function yourself.
  • An influential communicator. You align leaders and teams around a clear strategy and can challenge constructively when needed.
  • Resilient and performance-driven. You maintain pace, focus and high standards in a growing, complex organisation.
  • 24 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays, birthday leave and service milestone leave.
  • Option to buy up to 5 extra days’ holiday each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and sabbatical options.
