As a Redsquid Tier 1 Engineer, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Redsquid platform. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, troubleshooting, and delivering exceptional customer support. You will work closely with senior engineers and operations teams to resolve technical issues, monitor systems, and maintain service excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Act as the initial point of contact for technical issues related to the Red Squid platform.
- Monitoring & Alerts: Use monitoring tools to identify and elevate anomalies in system performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues, including connectivity, configuration, and basic application errors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and escalation paths.
- Collaboration: Work with Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineers for complex problem resolution.
- Customer Support: Provide clear and professional communication with internal teams and external clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 support
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g. Connectwise, Datto).
