An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading Leicestershire based manufacturing company who specialise in products for the Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Oil and Gas industries for a Production Soldering Technician with soldering and assembly experience.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Production Manager the Production Soldering Technician will be responsible for building and testing assemblies on a range of existing electro-mechanical products. You will also be responsible for soldering to a good standard.
THE CANDIDATE
- Soldering and assembly experience with an interest in engineering and technical products.
- Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly.
- Ability to solder to a good standard.
- Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colours.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring schedules.
