An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading Leicestershire based manufacturing company who specialise in products for the Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Oil and Gas industries for a PCB Repair Technician with soldering and assembly experience.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Production Manager, the Repair Technician will be responsible for building and testing assemblies on a range of existing electro-mechanical products. You will also be responsible for soldering to a good standard.
THE CANDIDATE
In order to succeed in the role of Production Technician you will need soldering and assembly experience with an interest in engineering and technical products. Other skills that will be useful are:
- Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
- Ability to solder to a good standard
- Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colours
- Experience in a production environment
- Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring schedules
