An exciting opportunity has arisen within the leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical products on the Leicester/Coventry border between Hinckley and Nuneaton for a Junior Production Technician to join its expanding team on a 6 month to Permanent Contract.

THE ROLE

  • It will be the role of the Junior Production Technician to be responsible for the production area working alongside existing calibration engineers.
  • Duties include:
  • Production calibration of complete range of product
  • Booking product onto Calibration Database
  • Set up of product for Calibration
  • Basic diagnostic fault finding

THE CANDIDATE

In order to succeed in the role of Junior Calibration Technician you will need to have a range of skills including assembly, basic fault-finding and basic soldering experience. You will need to be motivated and happy to work in a hands-on production environment. This role could suit an engineer/technician straight from an apprenticeship/college or a repair/test technician with electronics, mobile phones or technical fault finding skills.
