An exciting opportunity has arisen within the leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical machinery on the Leicester/Coventry border between Hinckley and Nuneaton for a Trainee Manufacturing Technician to join its expanding team.
THE ROLE
It will be the role of the Trainee Manufacturing Technician to be responsible for a number of technical roles within the engineering team. Duties will include:
- Gauging and measurement work
- Laser Etching and control
- Basic Soldering and Test work
- Learning and Development
THE CANDIDATE
In order to succeed in the role of Trainee Manufacturing Technician you will need to have a range of skills including good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as well as basic soldering. You will need to be motivated and happy to work in a hands-on engineering environment. This role could suit an engineer/technician straight from their apprenticeship or even a college leaver with a basic technical understanding who is looking to start a career in the manufacturing industry.
