Due to outstanding growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading global manufacturing company for a Quality Engineer at its modern facility in Farnborough.
THE ROLE
As the Quality Engineer, you will be working within a small, dedicated quality department, and be responsible for the upkeep and quality of the company's products and services. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible to ensure that relevant external requirements are met (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Focus to ensure that processes are in place to ensure all products that enter and leave the factory meet the required quality levels.
- Managing projects to change or optimise quality processes and procedures
- Ensuring all business-critical processes are documented and followed
- Ensuring that strict compliance with the quality system
- Acting as internal quality auditor for ISO.
- Act as internal expert for all quality related issues.
- Writing of Quality reports for key business issues.
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Quality Engineer, you will need to have experience of working within an engineering or manufacturing environment, preferably within a machinery or capital equipment manufacturer. You will need a good grasp of ISO9000 and other quality systems, along with some auditing experience. This role will suit a dynamic Quality Engineer who is looking to make a big impact in their career.
