Reds10 is seeking a Head of Quality. This is a new role and will lead quality across our manufacturing and project delivery operations. This is a leadership role aligning quality assurance across factory, site, and supply chain into a single high-performing function — driving consistency, reducing defects, strengthening compliance, and enhancing client confidence. Accountabilities
- Set and own the Reds10 quality strategy across design, procurement, offsite manufacture, logistics, installation, commissioning and handover.
- Lead the Quality function, integrating QA, Package Leads, factory inspection and site assurance into a disciplined operating model with clear responsibilities, escalation routes and decision rights.
- Manage the Quality Team who will advise and support in their specialisms across the construction process to all departments.
- Develop factory quality controls, inspection and test plans.
- Ensure design-for-manufacture and assembly quality risks are identified early, challenged constructively and closed before production release.
- Oversee site quality assurance across installation, completion, pre-handover inspections, snagging, defect close-out and client acceptance.
- Build a proactive quality culture across factories, offices, sites and the supply chain, with visible leadership, practical training and clear expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Senior quality leadership experience in offsite construction, modular buildings, advanced manufacturing, construction, engineering or a similarly regulated production-led environment.
- Proven track record of building and managing high performing teams.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, audit management, quality planning, inspection and test plans, non-conformance control and corrective action systems.
- Good understanding of UK construction quality obligations, Building Safety Act principles, technical compliance, handover evidence and digital records.
- Experience leading quality across both factory and site environments, with the ability to balance pace, production discipline and compliance.
- Track record of reducing defects, improving supplier performance and embedding lessons learned into repeatable operating standards.
- Practical experience with digital construction, inspection or document-control systems such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, OpenSpace or equivalent platforms would be advantageous.
Role Expectations
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including regular presence at the Driffield factory and London headquarters.
- Comfortable with frequent overnight travel as part of the role.
- Eligible for and able to maintain required security clearances for client environments.
- Holds a full, valid UK driving licence.
