The role will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive and well-considered budgets, cost plans and estimates for new projects. Working independently and as part of the wider pre-construction team, you'll help drive successful bid submissions while identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present accurate estimates and cost plans for Reds10 projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Review tender documentation, develop deliverable schedules and contribute to tender strategies.
- Support Bid/No Bid reviews and pre-construction planning activities.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to fully understand project requirements.
- Develop Bills of Quantities where appropriate.
- Engage with supply chain partners to obtain pricing, technical input and buildability advice.
- Manage tender queries and maintain comprehensive audit trails throughout the estimating process.
- Review supplier quotations and tender returns, ensuring compliance and commercial robustness.
- Identify, manage and mitigate risks within estimates while tracking opportunities for value creation.
- Work closely with Commercial, Procurement, Technical and Operations teams to support smooth project handovers.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal pricing databases and benchmarking information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice across the estimating function.
