We’re looking for a Production Planner to join our team and take charge of coordinating and streamlining our production operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are passionate about improving productivity and meeting customer satisfaction, this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: * Develop and manage production schedules to align with customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity. * Coordinate with procurement, labor management, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of resources. * Adjust schedules as needed to address delays, equipment issues, and other variables. Inventory Management: * Monitor raw materials and component stock levels to ensure continuous production flow while avoiding overstocking. * Collaborate with the procurement team to manage material shortages and prevent production stoppages. Capacity Planning: * Analyze production capacity and workload, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions. * Work with manufacturing teams to optimize labor and machinery utilization. Demand Forecasting: * Collaborate with sales and marketing to predict product demand and adjust production plans accordingly. * Utilize forecasting data for long-term planning and budgeting. Cost Control: * Identify opportunities for cost savings by optimizing resources and reducing waste. * Monitor and report on production costs, ensuring adherence to budgets. Process Improvement: * Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and output quality. * Refine production planning processes to improve accuracy and responsiveness.
