Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Module Steel Assembler to join our modular construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling steel frames, components, and modules in accordance with technical drawings, safety standards, and production timelines. This role is key to ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our modular units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble steel modules and frames using hand tools, power tools, as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all components are correctly aligned, bolted, according to specifications.
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy, structural integrity, and quality standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, to meet production deadlines.
- Report any material shortages, defects, or safety concerns to the team leader or supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in steel fabrication, modular construction, or a similar assembly role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and impact tools.
- Forklift or crane operation certification is a plus.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
