We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing team. This is a varied, hands‑on role ideal for an organised and creative individual who is keen to develop their marketing career.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the team, delivering engaging content, coordinating impactful internal and external communications, and helping maintain consistently high-quality marketing materials. With exposure across digital marketing, content creation, event coordination, and internal communications, the role offers an excellent foundation for future career progression.

Accountabilities
  • The effective coordination and delivery of internal communications activity in line with agreed plans and priorities.
  • The smooth planning and administration of Town Halls, all‑staff briefings and leadership communications.
  • Ownership of day‑to‑day marketing administration, ensuring processes, suppliers and logistics are managed accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing consistent, high‑quality support to internal stakeholders, including HR and leadership teams.
  • Ensuring all communications and materials are accurate, on‑brand and delivered to agreed timescales.
Responsibilities

Key elements of the role include:

Internal Communications
  • Organising and coordinating all company meetings, Town Halls, and SLT roadshows.
  • Drafting, editing, and publishing internal communications, announcements, leadership updates, and internal campaigns.
  • Producing and distributing quarterly internal newsletters and other employee focused content.
  • Liaising with teams across the business to gather news, achievements, and updates for internal and external use.
  • Managing internal communication channels, including SharePoint and email newsletters.
Marketing & Content Support
  • Ensuring all marketing materials remain accurate, consistent, and on brand.
  • Uploading and managing blogs on the company website, supporting other website updates, basic SEO tasks, and ongoing maintenance of marketing collateral.
  • Coordinating the recycling and repurposing of existing content (e.g. presentations into blogs, vodcasts, podcasts).
  • Coordinating design projects, photography, and videography, including making full use of AI tools to enhance video content.
  • Managing the process for new joiner photos, including resizing, editing, and uploading to the website and marketing assets.
Event Support
  • Supporting the preparation of event packs, promotional materials, and supplier coordination.
  • Coordinating invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, logistics, and on the day support.
  • Managing pre and post event follow‑up activity and analytics.
Key skills & Experience
  • Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • An excellent written communicator, confident drafting engaging internal and external content.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with tools such as Canva and video editing software.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and creative, with a willingness to get involved across a broad range of activities.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, event coordination, or basic design tools is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant degree or workplace experience.
