SQL Database Administrator – New! (REFGJ6) Salary: Up to £40k – 57k per annum + Bonus and Excellent benefits Location: Bath (Hybrid) Due to periods of growth and expansion, a leading organisation is recruiting now. My client is looking for talented SQL Database Administrators to take responsibility for all production database operations and services. Ideal candidates will have the following: Strong experience of supporting business critical production environments as a MS SQL Server DBA. Knowledge and experience of MS SQL Server 2019 and above. Understanding of SQL PaaS services – Azure SQL DB and AWS RDS. Performance tuning. SQL Server maintenance requirements. SQL Server Reporting services implementation and maintenance. Knowledge of TSQL scripting and PowerShell. Visual Studio and working with Database Projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage all database servers in UAT and production environments: Resilience, Performance & Capacity. Develop, implement and maintain database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases within our SaaS products. Work with the infrastructure and development teams to define requirements and implementation configurations for new services and projects. Aid database development, advising on best practice and efficient design. Guide in the development and delivery of client and internal SSRS reports.
