Software Development Lead/Manager (C#/.Net) – Sheffield – New Role! (REF36)

A market leading organisatin in the healthtech space requires a Software Development Lead/Manager to joins its growing and successful team!

Suitable candidates will have the folloiwng experience:

  • Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/managment role.
  • Experience leading technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the abilities to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with git version control.
  • Process driven.
  • Flexible approach and positive attitude.
  • Experience with at least two of the following requirements:
  • ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.)
  • SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • DevExpress components. Desirable
  • Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.

Duties will include the folloiwng:

  • Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
  • Managing and mentoring software developers.
  • Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
  • Writing and reviewing code.
  • Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting at product user groups)
