Software Development Lead/Manager (C#/.Net) – Sheffield – New Role! (REF36)

A market leading organisatin in the healthtech space requires a Software Development Lead/Manager to joins its growing and successful team!
Suitable candidates will have the folloiwng experience:
- Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/managment role.
- Experience leading technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the abilities to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable with git version control.
- Process driven.
- Flexible approach and positive attitude.
- Experience with at least two of the following requirements:
- ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.)
- SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- DevExpress components. Desirable
- Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.
Duties will include the folloiwng:
- Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
- Managing and mentoring software developers.
- Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
- Writing and reviewing code.
- Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting at product user groups)
