Qualifications
- Substantial commercial experience in software development using C#/.NET.
- Experience of leading on technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable with git version control.
- Process driven.
- Flexible approach and positive attitude.
- Experience with as many of the following as possible: ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.), SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), DevExpress components (Desirable), familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.
Duties
- Being technical lead for a number of leading products.
- Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
- Writing and reviewing code.
- Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and support at product user groups).
