We’re working with an large organisation that is looking for a Senior Delivery Engineer to join a growing technical team, working on the delivery of infrastructure, migration and cloud transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Delivering infrastructure, migration and cloud projects for customers.
- Building and migrating VMware and Microsoft environments.
- Working across VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Supporting technical discovery, implementation, testing, migration and go-live.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and acting as a technical escalation point.
- Producing technical documentation, migration plans and handover material.
- Working closely with project managers, architects and engineering teams.
- Supporting automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
Skills
- Strong commercial experience in infrastructure engineering and project delivery.
- Solid VMware experience across vSphere, ESXi and vCenter.
- Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Practical Azure / hybrid cloud experience.
- Experience delivering migrations, upgrades or infrastructure transformation projects.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and taking ownership of technical deliverables.
- Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, Terraform or Bicep would be advantageous.
