Infrastructure Security Engineer – Up to £57,500 – Bristol – New role (REF 43)\\n Please note, SC eligibilty is essential. \\n\\n A leading organisation in the Bristol area requires an Infrastructure Engineer – with a Cyber Security focus – to join its growing team. This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in complex, multi-platform environments.

\\n\\n Suitable candidates will have the following: \\n\\n Proven experience of working in an IT Engineer role with circa 5 years relevant infrastructure experience. \\n Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server and Microsoft Azure. \\n Understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, segmentation, and secure remote access.

\\n Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), including multi-factor authentication (MFA), RBAC, and conditional access policies. \\n Experience aligning infrastructure builds with cyber security standards such as NCSC guidance, CIS benchmarks, or Microsoft Security Baselines. \\n Awareness of common regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g.

ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus). \\n Ability to work with cyber security engineers to interpret and apply organisational security policies and controls in infrastructure delivery. \\n Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting toolsets.
