Job Title: SAP Cloud Consultant x2

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Birmingham (1 day a week)

Salary: £70,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery of data service improvements.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and develop data pipelines, including data capture and transformation processes, to integrate data from multiple systems and make it easily accessible for analysis in the cloud.
  • Data Visualisation Management: Oversee the design and management of data visualisation and dashboard tools that use SAP and non-SAP data, such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the SAC platform, covering data modelling, reporting, and visual presentations.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage SAC projects from requirement analysis through to solution design, implementation, and post-go-live support.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team, researching new technologies and evaluating their suitability for business needs, and supporting business cases for data initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • SAP Analytics Tools Expertise: Certification or equivalent experience with SAP Analytics tools such as SAP Application Associate for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Datasphere.
  • Project Implementation: Involvement in at least one full implementation, designing and developing analytic applications using SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • SAP Data Structures Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP data structures across modules in ECC, S/4HANA, and/or other cloud-based products.
  • Data Management Best Practices: Working knowledge of data management and industry best practices.
  • Data Integration Skills: Extensive experience in analysing, diagnosing, and resolving complex data integration issues.
  • Data Migration Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale data migration projects.
