Digital Release Manager
Location: Newcastle, York, or London

Are you ready to steer the transition of cutting-edge digital systems and services to deliver fantastic user experiences? I\’m looking for a Digital Release Manager to join our dynamic Digital and Innovation team.
In this role, you’ll oversee the release and transition of quality, compliant digital systems across a retail ecosystem and beyond. You’ll coordinate across stakeholders, ensuring smooth service transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead release management and service transition activities.
- Develop and execute detailed transition plans with clear milestones.
- Collaborate with Test Managers to align testing with deployment plans.
- Manage and streamline change management processes, exploring automation opportunities.
- Oversee version control and incident management across digital environments.
- Drive root cause analysis and reporting for technical incidents.
- Maintain and update a knowledge base for the digital ecosystem.
- Act as the Product Owner for the Jira system, optimising issue tracking and documentation.
- Identify innovation opportunities and improvements in processes and systems.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in release management, service transition, or related IT roles.
- ITIL certification and in-depth knowledge of change management processes.
- Strong technical background in supporting digital products and innovation.
