I’m currently working with a rapidly expanding financial services software provider that is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team. The company builds specialist software used by organisations across the UK and US. You’ll be joining a collaborative engineering team working on a large, established SaaS platform while also contributing to its continued development and modernisation.
What they’re looking for:
- Strong commercial Python development experience
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Understanding of unit testing and automated testing
- Exposure to CI/CD, ideally Azure DevOps
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in building quality software
- Comfortable taking ownership of work and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders
- Experience with FastAPI, PySpark or Databricks would be particularly useful.
If you’re a Python-focused Software Engineer looking for a role where you can work across the stack and have genuine ownership over the software you build, I’d be keen to hear from you.
