I’m working with one of the UK’s largest and most successful financial services companies in support of their search for an experienced DevOps Manager. After significant investment and several core platform upgrades underway, this is a newly created role and will be vital in the coordination and success of their DevOps function.
With global customers and a multi-cloud environment, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced DevOps leader with a financial services background to manage a team of talented DevOps Engineers.
- Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of roughly 10 experienced DevOps Engineers in a multi-cloud environment.
- Implementing DevOps tools and automation, in addition to ensuring observability practices are fully established.
- Working alongside, and collaborating with Engineering, Security, Cloud and Platform leaders to deliver and coordinate DevOps integration and processes.
- Driving and embedding best practices, continuous improvement, accountability, and ownership across the DevOps function.
Strong experience in DevOps leadership and management, with a background in DevOps/Platform engineering and a clear understanding of cloud technologies. A background in technical leadership within the financial services, with an appreciation of its nuances and considerations. Excellent knowledge of multi-cloud platform integration, ideally having worked in both AWS & Azure environments. Experience in working alongside various technical teams and leaders, and an appreciation of DevSecOps.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a strong DevOps team at a renowned financial services organisation with some exciting projects planned for 2026.
