A well-established technology services organisation is seeking a Datacentre Facilities Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure across multiple datacentre sites. This is a hands-on role, working with internal teams and external contractors to ensure high availability and performance of essential systems. You will play a key role in maintaining power, cooling, and safety systems, helping to ensure continuous and reliable datacentre operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure including power, cooling, and fire systems
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Work with contractors to support repairs and on-site projects
  • Monitor systems using building management tools and respond to alerts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Support site operations across multiple locations as required

  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or facilities systems
  • Knowledge of infrastructure such as HVAC, generators, or UPS systems
