A leading organisation within the retail domain is looking for an experienced Data Architect to play a crucial role in shaping enterprise data strategy within a large, complex environment. This role sits at the heart of the organisation's data ecosystem, driving data integrity, governance and security while enabling analytics, reporting, AI, and customer-facing solutions.
You will design and oversee scalable, high-quality data architectures that support both operational decision-making and long-term innovation. This is a hands-on, influential role with real ownership over enterprise data architecture, from strategic design through to implementation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:- Enterprise Data Architecture design and governance
- Conceptual and logical data modelling
- Data lakes, warehouses, and repositories
- Data ingestion, transformation, and integration
- Retail industry data models and standards
- Compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and InfoSec standards
- Collaboration across engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Extensive experience within Data Architecture & Design
