My client is looking for someone with strong Linux and Windows skills to support, build, and maintain a wide range of infrastructures, from cloud to on-premise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support complex server, database, and cloud infrastructures in greenfield and brownfield environments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and methodically.
- Proactively manage and monitor customer environments to prevent issues and outages.
- Work flexibly as part of a team where everyone contributes to getting the job done.
- Communicate directly and professionally with customers.
About You:
You’ll bring a solid technical foundation, alongside strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Ideally, you’ll have experience in several of the following areas:
- Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian) and Microsoft platforms.
- Databases: MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
- Networking: TCP/IP, firewall rules, and troubleshooting.
- Web Hosting: Apache, IIS, nginx, Tomcat.
- Scripting & Automation: Shell scripts, PowerShell, Ruby, Bash, Python.
- Infrastructure: VMware, clustering, HAProxy, Docker, load balancing.
- Configuration Management: Puppet, version control (Git).
- Hardware & Storage: Servers, SAN/NAS devices.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.
