Lead DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect - Azure - New Role (REF31)
£80k - £90k per annum - 1 day on site per month
A leading organisation in the healthcare sector requires a Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect to join its growing team.
The successful candidate will have have 6+ years hands-on experience with Azure. Additionally, as this is a lead role, communication skills are critical, including the ability to translate complex paradigms into easy-to-understand pieces and stakeholder management for technical change.
You will be working within an architecture team so duties will include the design and documenting of petterns and best practices guided by the Well Architected Framework as well as building foundational Terraform modules and leading the DevOps Consortium function, to ensure engineers in development teams are following best practices and deploying high quality and secure services.
A deep understanding of Azure components is essential. Key areas include:
- Virtual Machines / Scale Sets
- Azure Kubernetes Service (deployment + management)
- API Management
- App Services / App Service Environments
- Azure SQL and MI
- Functions
