IT Director / Head of Technology (Software and IT Infrastructure) - New Role A leading organisation (of c.250 staff) requires a technically skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking IT Director/Head of Techncology to serve as a technical leader for the IT department and oversee the development, implementation, and management of all technological aspects across the group - to include both software development and IT infrastructure.
This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and strategic oversight to align the department's capabilities with the group's broader operational objectives.
Suitable candidates will have the following: Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, including managing software development, infratrsucture and information security while building and scaling teams.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, software development and security technologies.
Strong experience in web applications development (.
Net) In-depth knowledge of Agile, SDLC, ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
Strong understanding of data protection regulations, information security standards and cyber risk management.
Demonstrable experience leading digital transformation and systems integration projects.
