About the role
We’re working with a market-leading organisation that’s scaling rapidly and looking for an Angular Developer with Ionic experience to take ownership of the development experience across web and mobile platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on front-end engineering, with ownership of UI/UX design and the mobile experience. You’ll work closely with product, QA, and other front-end developers to shape how products look, feel, and behave across devices. You’ll be delivery-focused, pragmatic, and confident making front-end and UX decisions while owning a modern Angular/Ionic codebase within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining responsive front-end applications using Angular, Ionic, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Owning UI/UX decisions across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborating with product, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code.
- Contributing to front-end architecture and best practices.
- Mentoring junior developers and supporting team development.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Angular and Ionic.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centred design.
- Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Nice to have
- Experience working in small teams or fast-scaling environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and design systems.
- Experience integrating with APIs and back-end services.
