Cyber Security Tester - (Remote)
I’m partnered with a well-established UK Managed Service Provider that is continuing to strengthen its cyber security capability. They are now looking to add a skilled Cyber Security Tester to their team, someone who can deliver high-quality testing engagements and help clients better understand their risk exposure.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on testing, has a sharp eye for detail, and can confidently explain technical vulnerabilities in a way that resonates with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
What you’ll get:
- Up to £60,000 salary package
- Fully remote role, with occasional UK client visits where required
- Exposure to a wide variety of systems and environments across application, infrastructure, and network security
- Ongoing training and support with professional certifications such as CREST
- The chance to lead on client projects as well as contribute individually
What they’re looking for:
- A track record (1–2 years+) in penetration testing, ideally across both web applications and infrastructure
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networks, and common operating systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
- Knowledge of security build reviews and database security practices
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise reports and adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
- A genuine passion for cyber security and continuous learning
