Cyber Security Lead – Up to £50k – New Role (REF39)

A leading organisation requires a Cyber Security Lead to be responsible for leading and developing a team of specialists to protect its customer\’s systems, data and users from cyber threats. Suitable candidates will:

  • Be an experienced leader in Cyber with a proven track record of managing people and risks.
  • Have a good knowledge of information security risk management, data protection and cybersecurity technologies including common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Possess a proven track record and experience in developing policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic business environment.
  • Be a passionate leader and builder of both vision and bridges, able to energize and motivate the cyber team and key stakeholders.
  • Have excellent analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under firm timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment.
  • Ideally have a professional security management certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other similar credentials.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder, contract and vendor negotiations skills

Additionally you will have a clean driving license and will be able to visit customer sites when required.
