A leading organisation (of c.250 staff) requires a technically skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking IT Director/Head of Techncology to serve as a technical leader for the IT department and oversee the development, implementation, and management of all technological aspects across the group - to include both software development and IT infrastructure.
This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and strategic oversight to align the department's capabilities with the group's broader operational objectives.
Suitable candidates will have the following
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, including managing software development, infratrsucture and information security while building and scaling teams.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, software development and security technologies.
- Strong experience in web applications development (. Net)
- In-depth knowledge of Agile, SDLC, ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations, information security standards and cyber risk management.
- Demonstrable experience leading digital transformation and systems integration projects.

Responsibililties will include
- Maintaining and developing existing software solutions/systems.

- Ensuring robust data management to enable performance management and drive strategic decision-making.
