A leading organisation in the Bristol area requires a Network Engineer to join its expanding team. Suitable candidates will have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience of working in networking environments with exposure to both Cisco and ideally Juniper
  • Experience of supporting large-scale network environments
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts
  • Knowledge of high availability and resilience protocols
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark
  • Experience with VPNs and remote access solutions
  • A relevant qualification (such as CCNA) would be welcomed

Duties will include the following:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network solutions
  • Working across routers, switches, servers and software-defined networks
  • Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring high availability
  • Managing VPNs, remote access and wireless networks
