A leading organisation in the Bristol/Bath area requires a Technical Business Analyst to join its growing software delivery function. The Business Analyst will translate business requirements into functional scope and provide ongoing support during the software development lifecycle, ensuring any client impacts are captured and managed.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into functional scope.
- Provide ongoing support during the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure any client impacts are captured and managed.
Qualifications
- Substantial business analysis skills – ideally within a software development environment.
- Experience of working closely with development and test teams and a good understanding of the SDLC.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience of requirements gathering and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of SQL & XML (.Net would be highly beneficial).
Additionally, any experience of the following would be advantageous:
- SSRS/SSIS experience.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (such as platforms, investments, wealth management, pension administration or fund administration).
