I’m proud to be working with a law firm that's investing heavily into AI & legal technology, in support of their search for an Innovation Manager to take ownership of the internal innovation strategy and shape how AI and legal technologies are adopted across the business.

You'll identify opportunities where AI and legal technology can deliver business value and will play a central role in the full lifecycle of innovation projects, from assessing ideas and trialling new technologies through to implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.

A key part of this position will be to collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure new tools are successfully integrated into day-to-day operations while promoting responsible AI usage and supporting long-term adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the organisation's AI and innovation roadmap.
  • Coordinate AI & legal technology pilots, proof-of-concepts and solution rollouts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI and emerging technologies.
  • Work alongside business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Promote user adoption through training sessions, guidance materials and engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to AI governance, best practice guidance and responsible use frameworks.
  • Stay informed on developments within AI and technology, bringing forward new ideas and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering AI, innovation or technology transformation in the legal sector.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI and emerging technology trends, as well as an appreciation for their applications in a law firm.
  • Excellent project management experience with a background in delivering legal technology solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in supporting change initiatives, user engagement or technology adoption.
