Redrock Recruitment are looking to recruit for their client an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established business operating in the Logistics and Distribution Sector. The project value ranges from £7 million to £30 million. The successful project manager will have a clear history of delivering steel frame shed builds from inception stage to completed client handover. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business with a healthy project pipeline and a great company culture.
The Project Manager will be responsible for carrying out projects in the Logistics and Distribution new build sector and will have a minimum of 5 years’ active project management experience in the above sectors. They should be able to produce written reports and provide updates to key stakeholders, including the client and senior management team. Proven experience in budget management and material control is essential.
- Ability to delegate responsibility to the management team.
- Conduct site surveys and technical meetings to create specifications for the client.
- Lead project design and programming.
- Negotiate with and allocate work to subcontractors.
- Ensure delivery of projects on-time, on-budget, and to client’s satisfaction.
- Report regularly on progress to senior managers and clients.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all areas of construction.
- SMSTS Qualified.
- CSCS card - Black.
- Local to the Midlands area.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Flexible, can-do attitude.
- MS Office skills.
- Full driving licence.
