Location: Hybrid (3 days/week) | Full-time

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead to provide technical direction and people leadership across two established software teams working on a shared product framework. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape architecture, guide development standards, and mentor developers while remaining close to the code. You’ll play a key role in the continued evolution of a market-leading software platform, contributing from day one and influencing both new development and the modernisation of legacy systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and supporting two software development teams, driving delivery and alignment
  • Setting and maintaining architectural standards and best practices
  • Taking ownership of technical decision-making
  • Writing, reviewing, and improving production code
  • Defining and delivering a long-term strategy to modernise legacy systems
  • Mentoring and developing software engineers
  • Working closely with Sales, QA, and other cross-functional teams
  • Building strong relationships with customers, including occasional customer site visits, conference attendance, and user group support
  • Translating user needs into technical solutions

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years’ commercial experience in C# / .NET development
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a technical leadership role
  • Proven experience leading architectural and technical decisions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • A structured, process-driven approach with a positive, flexible mindset
  • Experience with at least two of the following: ORM frameworks (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.), Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), DevExpress components
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
