About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of a complex digital platform within the public sector. You will own and prioritise multiple product backlogs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to drive value through agile, iterative delivery. This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, clear decision-making, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own, prioritise, and manage product backlogs for a complex digital platform
  • Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned to business goals
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver value through agile, iterative methods
  • Make and clearly communicate prioritisation decisions based on value, effort, and outcomes
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence across organisational boundaries
  • Support delivery through hands-on analysis where required
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language
  • Continuously improve the platform through testing, learning, and introduction of new features
  • Ensure alignment of delivery with strategic goals, outcomes, and user needs
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support others within the product discipline
