We’re partnering with a well-known charity undergoing an exciting phase of digital and service transformation. They’re looking for two experienced User Researchers to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, helping ensure services are designed around the real needs of the people who use them. This is an opportunity to apply your research expertise to meaningful, high-impact work that improves accessibility, inclusion, and user experience for diverse communities across the UK.

Working in a hybrid model from the London office, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Content Specialists, and Delivery teams to uncover insights that directly influence service design and strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering end-to-end user research across digital and service environments
  • Running qualitative and quantitative research activities including interviews, usability testing, workshops, and surveys
  • Engaging with a wide range of users, including vulnerable or hard-to-reach audiences
  • Turning research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Advocating for user-centred design principles across teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting accessibility and inclusive design approaches throughout delivery
  • Helping teams continuously iterate and improve services based on evidence and feedback
  • Contributing to research repositories, playbooks, and best practice standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience working as a User Researcher within agile environments
  • Strong background delivering discovery, alpha, beta, or live phase research
  • Experience conducting usability testing and synthesising complex findings
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable managing multiple research streams and priorities
  • Experience working within public sector, healthcare, charity, or mission-led organisations is highly desirable
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills

The Contract

  • 2x User Researcher contracts available
  • Inside IR35
  • Hybrid working – London office attendance required
  • Occasional travel may be needed for workshops, research sessions, or stakeholder engagement in London
  • Initial contract with strong extension potential
