We are seeking an experienced German-speaking User Researcher to support a UK-based team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a researcher who is passionate about user-centred design and has experience working across international or multilingual products.
The Role
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to plan and deliver high-quality user research that informs product strategy and design decisions. A key part of the role involves conducting research with German-speaking users, ensuring insights are clearly communicated to English-speaking teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys)
- Recruit, moderate, and analyse research sessions with German-speaking participants
- Translate user insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed research findings into product development
- Produce research reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a User Researcher in a digital product or service environment
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
- Strong background in qualitative research methods; quantitative experience is a plus
