We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a large-scale data centre migration project for one of our key clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical transformation initiative within a collaborative and technically skilled environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring a smooth and secure migration process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, build, and deployment of cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation scripts.
  • Support the migration of on-premise data centre workloads to Azure.
  • Ensure high standards of performance, security, and reliability throughout the migration.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, network engineers, and security teams.
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills – Bicep experience highly desirable.
  • Solid PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, architecture, and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of networking concepts (VNETs, firewalls, routing, VPNs, etc.).
  • Experience supporting or leading data centre migration projects.
Contract Details
  • Duration: 3 months initially, with extension expected (12-month+ project).
  • Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35).
  • Location: Hybrid – remote with travel to Bristol once per month.
