Rednock School is seeking to appoint an ambitious team player to join our Design Technology (DT) team from January 2026, as a Teacher of Design Technology. We are looking to consolidate and build on our good practice and look forward to welcoming a new member to the department. This role is both suitable for an experienced teacher or Early Careers Teacher (ECT) who is committed to engaging and motivating students. Our team currently consists of 5 specialist DT teachers (2 DT, 2 Food and 1 Textiles) who are supported by two technicians (1 DT and 1 Food/Textiles). The department consists of a range of specialist classrooms.

We are seeking an inspirational and suitably qualified Teacher of DT who is capable of teaching in all DT areas at Key Stage 3 and up to KS5 in Product Design. We are a very popular subject and currently deliver the AQA GCSE in Design Technology, which we deliver to 6 classes, and the AQA A Level in Design Technology: Product Design at post-16.

You will be passionate about your subject, with high expectations for our students and aspirations of progression for yourself. We are a rural 11-18 comprehensive school, with excellent road links and spectacular views over rolling hills.

The fixed term post is open to part time or full time, and is starting from January 2026 until August 2026, with the opportunity of review at the end of the fixed term. Responsibilities
