We are currently seeking a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering design team. Our client designs and manufactures specialist electrical/electronic products supplying a nationwide industrial market.
Skills and experience sought will include:
- Degree in Power Electronics, Embedded Electronics, Embedded Systems or equivalent
- Experienced in Power Electronics and Hardware Systems Design, working with high-power systems 1kV and > 20kW
- Analogue design
- Active Front End and Dual Active Bridge with System Control at 100kHz
- Knowledge of transformers and magnetics design for power converters
- Schematic and PCB layout (our client uses OrCAD) other alternatives e.g. Altium would be relevant
- Use of electrical test equipment such as PSU's, Load Banks, DMM/DVM, oscilloscope/analysers, signal/function generators.
