This role will be working from home, with a company van, carrying out Installation, Commissioning Maintenance and Service work at customer sites. Attractive salary with overtime, including all travel time and annual bonus. Hours are Monday to Friday daytime.
You will be joining a nationwide network of Installation and Service Engineers. All products are designed and manufactured at our client's UK base. Products are typically installed in schools, colleges, and hospitals. Candidates should be eligible to apply for DBS clearance.
We are ideally seeking candidates with industrial Electrical/mechanical Installation/Maintenance experience. Specialist training will be offered, providing the opportunity to gain further qualifications and career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Installing new equipment including PVC/Polypropylene ducting
- Carrying out electrical installation of equipment
- Calibrating/validating and commissioning systems
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and service
Experience sought (not essential):
- Installation and Service of electro-mechanical equipment at commercial premises
- Experience gained in HVAC sector (Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning) or similar would be beneficial
Candidates will possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills as this will be a customer-facing role. A willingness to learn, including progressing with technical training, will be sought.
