This role will be working from home, with company van, carrying out Installation, Commissioning Maintenance and Service work at customer sites. Attractive salary with overtime, including all travel time and annual bonus. Hours are Monday to Friday daytime. You will be joining a nationwide network of Installation and Service Engineers. All products are designed and manufactured at our client\’s UK base. Our client is a leading provider of Fume Cupboards and LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems. Products are typically installed in schools, colleges, hospitals. Candidates should be eligible to apply for DBS clearance. Candidates from HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) or Refrigeration sectors will be relevant as would candidates with other industrial Electrical/mechanical Installation/Maintenance experience. Specialist training will be offered offering the opportunity to gain further qualifications and career advancement within this growing sector. Duties and Responsibilities will include: – Installing new equipment including PVC/Polypropylene ducting and welding – Carrying out electrical installation of equipment – Calibrating/validating and commissioning systems – Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and service Qualifications sought (not essential) – NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent – Requirements of Electrical installations ( 18th Edition wiring regs beneficial but not essential) – Working knowledge of Health and Safety – Experience working in an ISO9001:2000 environment Candidates will possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills as this will be a customer facing role.
