Job Description
You will be joining a nationwide network of Installation and Service Engineers. All products are designed and manufactured at our client's UK base. Products are typically installed in schools, colleges, hospitals. Candidates should be eligible to apply for DBS clearance.
We are ideally seeking candidates with industrial Electrical/mechanical Installation/Maintenance experience. Specialist training will be offered offering the opportunity to gain further qualifications and career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
– Installing new equipment including PVC/Polypropylene ducting and welding- Carrying out electrical installation of equipment- Calibrating/validating and commissioning systems- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and service
Qualifications sought (not essential)- NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent- Requirements of Electrical installations ( 18th Edition wiring regs beneficial but not essential, training will be offered)- Working knowledge of Health and Safety- Experience working in an ISO9001:2000 environment beneficial
Candidates will possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills as this will be a customer facing role. A willingness to learn including progressing with technical training will be sought.
