Our client supplies, installs and services a range of industrial Battery Chargers, and related products, for industrial Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a nationwide team responsible for servicing Battery Chargers and their related Battery Packs at commercial/industrial locations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organising and completing service visits according to manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Advising Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during the course of duties.
  • Adhering to quality standards at all times.
  • Surveying new and existing sites for installation purposes.
  • Providing feedback on quality issues to the office.
  • Providing technical support to colleagues and customers as required.

Any of the following experience and qualifications would be beneficial although training will be given:

  • Electrical/Electronic fault finding.
  • Electromechanical installation experience, e.g. working with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), UKPN, National Grid or London Underground.
  • Experience with UKPN, National Grid, Western Power, Southern and Scottish Power, Electrical Authorised person and CSCS.
  • A UK Driving License and eligibility to work in the UK are essential.

Our client is employee-owned and offers an attractive salary and benefits package to include profit share and overtime. Following induction training, this role will be working on a rota basis, from home. All PPE, training, own van, expenses, healthcare plan, overtime, uniform and certifications are included.
