Our client designs and manufactures leading edge, high reliability, high value, monitoring tools for an international market. We are currently seeking an additional Electronics Engineer to join their highly qualified, multi-disciplined, engineering design team. Ideal candidates will possess a broad range of electronics skills including familiarity with analogue electronics, digital electronics and embedded software development. You will play a key role in designing the next generation of products as well as supporting the existing product range. Qualifications and skills sought. In this instance we are seeking an additional candidate to complement the existing team. The following is a list of useful skills. Applications are invited from candidates with a range of specialisms and levels of experience: Familiarity with analogue and digital electronics Familiarity with micro-controller systems including embedded C Schematic capture and board layout using Altium or similar Experience in managing/supervising small teams of engineers from a technical perspective Experience in planning and reviewing the work of others in the team Ability to write, review, update technical documents Experience in electronics test and fault-finding to component level Degree qualified in electronics, or similar, with over 5 years\β commercial experience The following skills are beneficial but not essential: Experience of FPGA\βs using VHDL Experience in design for High Temperatures and/or High Voltage design Experience of DSP based communication systems Experience of switch mode DC/DC power supplies and charging systems You will be working within a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility with a relaxed and friendly engineering team.
