Our client is a long standing, independent employer offering excellent benefits and flexible working conditions. We are currently seeking a Procurement Administration Assistant to join the Purchasing team. This is a part-time role, 18 hours per week, with flexibility for hours worked. Some hybrid/remote working also possible.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Procurement Administration
- Raise purchase orders for low-value and repeat purchases as requested
- Process office supply orders and routine purchasing requirements
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support contract filing and document management processes
- Assist with invoice query resolution and supplier follow-up
- Ensure procurement systems and databases are kept up to date
- Supplier Administration
- Coordinate supplier on-boarding administration
- Manage supplier forms, compliance documentation, and records
- Support supplier information updates and data accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers regarding administrative queries
- Data Entry & Administrative Support
- Perform accurate data entry across procurement systems and spreadsheets
- Maintain supplier records and purchasing information as required
- Update and organise procurement files and documentation
- Support the procurement team with general administrative tasks and record keeping
- Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Manager and Buyers
- Help streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency
- Contribute to maintaining strong internal stakeholder communication
Skills and experience sought:
- We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with good attention to detail.
- Previous administration experience would be beneficial
- Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in MRP/ERP systems would also be beneficial
