Our client is a long standing, independent employer offering excellent benefits and flexible working conditions. We are currently seeking a Customer Services Office Administrator to join the Customer Service Team. Ideal candidates will have some previous experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time role offering flexible working including hybrid/remote options.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Sales - To create Sales Orders, ensuring customer details are correct in line with PO requirements
  • To create part records for new part requirements, including necessary BOMs
  • To acknowledge Sales Orders within a timely manner
  • To create Works Orders for manufactured parts
  • To respond to customer requests promptly
  • Deliveries - To liaise internally, and with customers to arrange delivery of Sales Orders
  • To arrange necessary transportation, identifying where there may be special customer requirements
  • To generate dispatch notes
  • To ensure that the consignment complies with H&S and environmental requirements (e.g. ADR, DGNs, export docs, etc.)
  • To supply copy manuals, drawings, test, and other relevant documentation promptly following dispatch
  • To respond to customer requests regarding deliveries
  • Purchasing - Basic purchasing support to cover absences, including raising purchase orders
  • Daily purchasing tasks
  • General Office admin tasks
  • Others - To maintain records of changing customer requirements
  • To adhere to quality procedures at all times
  • To adhere to H&S requirements at all times
  • To undertake other reasonable tasks as requested
  • To maintain a safe & tidy working area and comply with all H&S, environmental and legal requirements

Skills and experience sought:

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with good attention to detail
  • Previous administration experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment, would be beneficial
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in MRP/ERP systems would also be beneficial
